La Autoridad del Distrito del Centro de Convenciones (ADCC), anunció los logros alcanzados por el Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot a tres años de su apertura, generando sobre $78.2 millones en la venta de boletos de los 240 eventos que se han celebrado en la sala de espectáculos más importante del país. En estos primeros tres años, la venta de alimentos y bebida ha generado $14 millones gracias a las 1,804,899 personas que han visitado esta moderna facilidad.
Además de los ingresos, el Coliseo de Puerto Rico ha logrado importantes reconocimientos a nivel internacional. En el 2005, a tan sólo un año de su apertura, el Coliseo ganó el premio “Internacional Large Venue of the Year” que otorga la reconocida revista internacional Pollstar.
En el 2006, el Coliseo fue nominado nuevamente por dicha revista para el “Internacional Arena of the Year” y aunque fue el Wembley Arena en Londres quien se llevó el premio en esta ocasión, el Coliseo fue reconocido como la Arena número 15 de las mejores 100 Arenas del Mundo.
La revista Venues Today también lo reconoció como la Arena #10 de las mejores 20 Arenas del mundo para el mismo año. En lo que va del 2007, el Coliseo ha sido posicionado como la Arena #7 de las mejores 20, #9 de las mejores 10 y #10 de las mejores 100 Arenas del Mundo según las revistas de la industria del entretenimiento Venues Today, Billboard y Pollstar respectivamente.
De igual forma, han sido muchos los artistas de renombre que se han presentado en el Coliseo logrando ser reconocido entre los mejores 100 edificios por sus ingresos en dichos eventos, entre estos The Rolling Stones, Ricky Martin, Andrea Bocelli, Wisin & Yandel, Usher, Sting, Shakira, Hector “The Father”, Ednita Nazario, Maná, Don Omar, RBD, Juan Luis Guerra, Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, WWE, NBA, Juanes, Elton John y Bon Jovi.

Actualmente, el Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot puede acomodar públicos desde 3,000 hasta 18,000 personas y ofrece la más alta tecnología en sistemas teatrales, de luces y sonido. Su versatilidad ha permitido que se lleven a cabo exhibiciones, reuniones, eventos privados, actividades al aire libre como los Sunsets @ El Coliseo y Funtártica, la pista de patinaje sobre hielo más grande de Puerto Rico.
